Gael is an Associate Director in the firm’s Employment Practice. Gael has a Master’s degree in Administrative Law from the University of Johannesburg and a BA and LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Prior to joining the firm, Gael conducted her own legal practice for 18 years specializing in Employment Law. During this time Gael gained extensive experience in employment-related litigation acting for both individual and corporate clients. She has been involved in numerous reported cases. In 2017 Gael sat as an Acting Judge in the Labour Court which enhanced her understanding of the legal process.

Gael was previously employed by Fasken, formerly known as Bell, Dewar and Hall, for 5 years and was a Senior Associate in their Employment Law Practice.  Gael is passionate about Employment law and finding solutions for her clients.
