Hedda joined the firm’s Employment Practice as an Executive in October 2024. She offers a proven record of successfully strategising, advising and representing large, medium, small scale clients and individuals on all employment and labour relations-related matters, including transactional, litigation and dispute resolution, regulatory and compliance, collective and individual bargaining.

Hedda services clients in the Mining, Medical, Construction, Insurance, Telecommunications / Broadcasting, Engineering and Gambling sectors, providing legal advisory services that mitigate the challenges faced by employers in South Africa’s highly technical labour landscape.

She frequently appears in the CCMA, bargaining councils, and the Labour Court for major corporations and public entities. She also regularly sits as an Acting Judge in the Labour Court and has over the years provided thought leadership to clients as well as colleagues within the legal field.
